We invite you, as a reader, to a kind of expedition around the Christian world and in your micro-world.

In the international project egoless.club, we are looking for ANSWERS to the stated, eternal and especially relevant in today’s world, QUESTIONS.

The existential crisis of an individual

It’s enough wondering about politics, economy, and culture. So I decided to figure out what the secret of all the worlds and my micro world. Not that divide us as people but connects what we have in common.

I do not want to compare myself with the Buddha, who at a young age asked similar questions. Being in a golden palace and being surprised that there are diseases, hunger, and death behind its walls.

I personally did not face in life with exceeding wealth, although I reached the stage of material sufficiency. Which seemed like a dream, but I did not find myself.

How to live correctly at any conditions, in truth, that is the question.

12. Which people are happy?

Pioneers of modern technologies, evangelists, Elon Musk (Tesla), Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Jeff Bezos (Amazon). I suspect that none of them carry Rolex. They do not have to prove anything to anyone anymore, unless for themselves. However, the advantage of entrepreneurship of these people in today’s digital world is beyond dispute.

It is true that in the new world everything happens so fast that mentioned success stories are not yet reached 20 years of history. However, the process of evolution does not yet reveal where it all leads.

In addition to the fact that there are initiatives to go to Mars (the two of mentioned bilionairs invest heavily in the development of the space industry), and we as modern humans cannot live without excessive, fast consumption and Facebook.

11. Revaluation of values

In one city I visited TWO STREETS.

On one of them were shops of the most expensive brands, such as Gucci, Prada, Armani, etc. For several days spent near this place, I saw only a few buyers. The amounts that may have been paid for the purchases probably allow at least to maintain staff (because the production cost of goods is many, many times lower than the price for a branded product).

An interesting point is that sellers and security guards had nothing to do all day, except to look at the smartphone.

10. Theory of human “needs”

Does the objective reality look so bad when you want to beat the bells?

Looking from the perspective of time, the visual progression “watch, rather than read or read quickly” is an evolution or degradation?

Perhaps, as in any phenomenon, there are two sides of the coin. So, egoless.club tries to find a balance for basic human needs in today’s, most of it in a civilized and safe world. While the basic human physiological needs are already fully met.

How is it possible that being at the very top of Maslov’s pyramid, most people still do not get lucky.

Quite often, life can be an illusion, like fog, where it is not enough to open a window. You have to go in there or climb to the top to be sure and look at everything from the side.

Suddenly something screamed in me “People make sure! Perhaps they are already experiencing this, after spending 20 years in front of a computer, and now sitting in the queue to the neurologist. With an inclined head with a load of 18 kg on the cervical spine, blinded to this small device, which on the one hand makes life easier, but also takes away. Instead of living truly, here and now, but in the perspective of eternity “

Eternal questions and answers become more important if a person already has some experience or when he needs help. And if the child had a difficult childhood or no parents?

By the way, young people today face a huge number of choices, in everything. And it’s not just about young and energetic, though being middle-aged, have you ever tried to pick a phone, TV or a car to buy? If you do not fall into the “eagle” category according to a certain classification.

“Do you want to take on such responsibility?” Insisted my mind.

“I want to share the foundation or the mirror with people, using truths verified over thousands of years, where they can ask themselves questions and make answers. If such people turn out to be more, if they unite in the search, it will be a positive force. Man being alone is very weak ”

“If humanity used these treasures of knowledge, perhaps we would have lived in paradise for a long time” tried to manipulate my brain.

“But if we did not use them, maybe we would have lived in hell for a long time, destroying our planet. Thank God, if we do not go in this direction ” said likely my higher self.

“First, save yourself!” Waves ‘beta’ in my brain stirring.

“That’s right, I’m saving him every day from a white piece of paper. And it is not easy for him alone “- quietly replied something to me.

9. Suffering is common thing

Summarizing, life is not an easy matter. Life is even quite difficult for most people, regardless of cultural, political and economic conditions.

It is easy to live up to a certain point.

This is my personal opinion, besides I read about it in a few modern authors: Ronald D. Siegel (Mindfulness), Laurent Gounelle. This is what the Buddhist texts speak first of all (as the first noble truth).

In turn, the Bible clearly explains the reason for this. It happened from the moment of original sin, that man would understand the meaning of his existence, that is, what is bad and what is good.

Or should everyone go through their lives alone, following the vision of their own personality, based on their own experience and simply not to care?

If something or someone you not like, you can simply skip it, cross it or pretend that you do not see it.

An important question, how do you know that you live correctly, although you do not always feel great? Is there any secret to eternal happiness?

After all, in reality, life changes, like thoughts, emotions in our head and for this reality itself. What has just been pleasant and inspiring suddenly disappears and we are again trapped in our attachments.

If we have managed to feel the inner freedom, everything around us is still very connected, because the plant can not grow without land and water.

A person can not develop without community and knowledge.

So I decided to save the world, although I did not know how to do it yet.

“Foolish” – my mind told me “who needs it today, it is like to teenager with iPhone and coffee Starbucks in hands, to give a book of classic literature or Holy Bible and a glass of water”

“No!” – something resisted in me “and what if to give people the opportunity to find themselves, using what studied and created the most enlightened minds of humanity, during the entire evolution of the millennia that led us here, where we are today.”

8. Psychology for everyday

Actually that we all see in other people directly or on social networks is just one half of visible.

The second part is hidden in the everyday life of each person, in a personal comfort zone. We usually protect or hide this “invisible” private part.

Daily life, ordinary questions/

How a person falls asleep or wakes up, whether he wants to go to work. Or today he wants to and tomorrow not really, or today he decided that he will go tomorrow. Moreover, why do I go there to work at all?

Should a person work or be engaged in what he likes with passion, but tomorrow may not already like it. Therefore, how to find your calling or how much money human really need.

What a person thinks about when he eats his breakfast, while he does it standing or sitting in the car. Whether we remember in the evening what we ate in the morning (or what the difference).

How a tired person copes with bad emotions, how much they paralyze or embitter him. Then how not to get tired and keep the balance, and how much chaos in our life, and how much order to complete happiness.

Do we envy subconsciously for the neighbor in a new car, can we really enjoy the success of our friends? And vice versa, do we realize a very fragile border if our own personality suddenly turns our personal success into mind.

Are we aware of psychological filters, limitations in our head? How we “give in” to let our children partially raise us, or try to control them ruthlessly.

Did my expectations from long-awaited vacation come true? Or how do I find the problem in illusion, where there is no reality in it, from which the philosophical question is born, what is the real world and who am I? With this question, my mind can even reach quantum physics.

By the way, all the above examples from my personal life.

Let me note that these questions or problems look negligible in comparison with the living conditions of people from border regions of Ukraine and Russia (Donbass) or Syria.

6. Need for spirituality

My point of view is born that most of the people in developed countries lead an existential way of life. A practical, consumption approach to life. So not a transcendental, as more spiritual (beyond the limit).

Eugene (Hanan) Krasnoshtein writes about this classification in his essay (in Russian).

In the developed countries such occurrence as an existential crisis is more relevant, Wikipedia defined it:

“Anxiety, a feeling of deep psychological discomfort when asked about the meaning of existence. Most common in cultures where the basic needs for survival are already fulfilled. ”

5. Subjective reality

In my subjective view, it seems, that way to live decide people which are similar by their nature. Only in different cultural, political and economic conditions.

It seems to be in Scandinavia, superficially speaking, are available all for the good life the necessary tools (let’s say to citizens). It is known that half of the constructed housing in Sweden is dedicated to bachelors (in comparison with 1/3 on average in Europe). This is not necessarily a bad thing, except the sensitive topic of child adoption by sexual minorities. Perhaps this is due to the lesser influence of religions and greater choice in everything.

Breivik has the right to seek better conditions of detention in prison and this is normal in a democratic society.

4. Two sides of evolution

I had a thought, isn’t relatively easier to live and survive without a choice variety (not bigger than one from two).

Cause at critical moments a person by his very nature uses all internal resources (as I have repeatedly seen doing martial arts).

Perhaps, in this way, evolution has led humanity to today’s digital age.

But to really live, healthy and in common sense, not just to exist in comfortable conditions, one must learn.

As more and more people so live in the XXI century, at convenience.

You can not get out of bed, because the entire interactive world is just at hand. The technology industry is working to ensure that one word (or gesture) suffices and the robotic finds his vocation how to make life easier for us.

It seems that it is an escape from not satisfying and improving the quality of life, but often happens completely the opposite.

3. Morality in modern era

Because books were the main source of knowledge and principles for a long time in my life, at some point, I was curious,

«on what moral foundations do people live, from where do they take knowledge for this one?».

Many people to whom I ask this question do not even understand the question, they simply do not care.

For the average “free” man in today’s society are more practical things to care.

For example, how to survive to next month wage (in the absence of choice) or where to go on vacation for the fourth time a year (having too much choice).

2. Books as source of knowledge

I give a living example from the world of fast consumption.

Once I asked for a friend:

“did you read my publication? “The answer: “you know – NO, there are too many LETTERS :)”

The fourth industrial revolution, everyday digitization, artificial intelligence and the power of visualization. Views on YouTube, posts on Facebook, photos on Instagram, tweet’s, the list is long enough.

These trends, in fact, and contributed to the birth of open knowledge club egoless.club.
